0:22.4	tonight is, do you feel safer now than before that dreadful day 20 years ago? So do you feel

0:47.9	I can't believe this.
0:50.3	20 years ago, I was live on BBC London when this devastating attack happened.
0:57.7	The seven, seven London bombings as they became known.
1:02.1	I was also, and I'm not bragging, I'm just stating the fact, I was the first broadcaster in the world to speak to survivors live on air. Remember, this was before mobile phones had video.
1:14.7	It was really before social media. As the people came out of the tunnels, out of the subway,
1:22.7	whatever you want to call it, the tube, they spoke to me. They called me on their mobiles. As I say, nowadays,
1:31.1	it would have been on Facebook. It would have been on YouTube, more or less as soon as the
1:35.5	bombs went off. That day, and as I say, it's 20 years since that horrific day tomorrow.
1:44.8	I just want to explore what happened.
1:47.4	Did it change London forever, or did Londoners just get on with life?
1:52.2	And I'm asking a very, very important question.
