Going to be another steamy one.

Oh, my God.

The heat index is just hanging out around 110 this week.

It's quite the furnace here in North Mississippi as summer is clearly on us in a weather way and a content way.

As we're in a couple weeks of, as Nils said, doldrums a couple seconds ago as we're getting started.

I took the dogs for a walk. We left at 7 a.m. We got back at 7.35. I had sweated through a shirt. At 7.30. On a walk. Yesterday I couldn't get my, I've been trying to get a certain number of steps in every day. With rare exception, I've gotten it done for the past three months.

And yesterday, I couldn't go until about, it was close to noon.

An hour into that, I swear I thought, walking, I've had a brisk pace, but it's not running, walking.

I swear I thought I was having a heat stroke.

Walking. Yeah. I thought I was having a heat stroke. Walking.

Yeah, in years past, and I get the idiocy of this,

I have typically spent most of my runs during the year in the middle of the day,

and that's not feasibly possible anymore.

Like, it's too hot.
