This time around, I suggested to Sarah that we should pick an interstitial topic where we are only going to talk about historicals.

We kicked around a lot of ideas, but landed on Scotland.

Yeah, I mean, she came at me with, let's do historicals.

And I felt like, no, let's, no, you're, no, you were supposed to feel seen.

You were supposed to be like yes jen understands me

like there's only one kind that's it just one just one kind um but no we did we picked

scotland because i feel like scotland there's a lot to say about scotland do you follow um on

twitter i follow a woman named Lily.

Lily 80, I think is her actual.

Yeah.

And she, here's, I think, the brilliant thing she said.

We were talking about Julie Garwood.

And she said that she imprinted on Julie Garwood.

I think she's not alone.

And I was like, yes.

And I, so I think the reason Scotland's really interesting to me, even though I don't read tons of historicals anymore, the same way is it is for sure, like the imprint.

And figuring that out and talking about like why Julie Garwood in particular.

And then like why Scotland is just like a really interesting question to me.

Because I'm fascinated by Romancelandia's like of all the countries in the world, y'all.

Maybe it's because men wear skirts.

I mean, the kilt is part of it.
