So the big country music festival where that scumbag shot all those people, it's time for that country music festival again and a lot of the same performers are performing but one of the biggest stars in all of country music, Eric Church, said some negative things about the NRA and how they're in the way of, you know, reasonable gun laws and that sort of stuff and I think his career is

over. I think his career is over. One of the biggest stars in all of country music. You're in the country music, you know, is we don't you don't but he went NRA's to blame on that leading up to the music festival. Yeah, that's an issue. You're done, man. You are done. Well, if he actually believes that, you're right.

Understand the repercussions he was about to unleash. I admire his gumption. I mean, that is really sticking to your prints. God, I'd say because he's committed career suicide. But stay tuned for, oh, I'm sorry, don't stay tuned for that. We just told you the story.

We had one individual we arrested who went to eight different home depots in one day and committed petty thefts. They know that the consequences for committing these crimes aren't there.

We had one individual that we've arrested 83 times since proposition 47 past all of these for petty thefts 83 times. Wow 83 23 is an amazing number right. Right 83 is unthinkable prop 47 which decriminalized a lot of crime and made it safe to commit crimes for criminals in the state of California.

Right in an effort to. I don't know what have fewer criminals. So we changed what's a crime. Yeah, but chief dire who's who's singing in a chorus with every cop in the state. And we worn ye in in states that have not done something this dumb. It like so many things. It sounds good in a way. Although it sounded patently absurd to me from the beginning. But

what they've done is is assumed that these poor people they just they the bush economy is really put them in a bad place and they only steal because they have to and blah blah blah blah.

So I mean it's it's only $900 let's not make that a felony. Let's make that a misdemeanor because they're just making an innocent mistake. And if we forgive them for this they'll soon go to junior college and get a nursing degree and get right on their feet and be productive taxpayers which is seriously please mount up your unicorn.

And ride it over the rainbow. But the chief is joining in the chorus with all the cops talking about how this is caused a skyrocketing rate of petty crime.

Crime is down Fresno. 18 fewer murders in the city for instance, but there is a spike in thefts and the chief points out that's their job. That's their career.

And they're emboldened to do it because there's no consequences. You know a lot of criminals are stupid. But a lot of them are smart enough to understand the law and understand risk and reward.

And you have lowered the risk for the same level of reward. They're stupid $900 in goods. They're stupid long term planners, but they're pretty up on their short term.

What's going on? That's right. So for today I am I'm going to take the time to know what the law is when I can get away with. It's not a good long term strategy for your life. You can't just keep doing this like a chain smoker knows where the cheap cigarettes are.

You know that smart long term not so much from petty thefts to high end robberies in the last few weeks. 15 Lulu lemon stores statewide. I've been hit.

Apparently there's a gang of people targeting those stores tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise ripped off the racks. I would guess it's probably an increments of $900 or less per person.

They got to be literally doing the math in their head as they go around stealing right. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah, clearly. I took this saw it's 150 bucks. They'll even do it on their calculator.

There has even been there's certainly been an increase in these types of videos that I've been seen most notably from the Apple store right where these a group of somewhere between like five and 15 people all run in fill up their fairly small duffle bags with stuff and then leave.

And the duffle bag seem you know I don't know what the exact calculus is but yeah it's it seems very unlikely that you'd be able to get a lot of value out in these little duffle bags and they all just individually carry it.

So it seems weird that they are. They are prosecuted as this is a group that together they stole this so each individual state under 900 right interesting and you know I was just talking to a cop the other day who's talking about all the rip offs of stores now where your tough guys will have the stuff in their hands.
