Apparently, August 1st is International Beer Day.

Oh, always first, okay.

Miller Light is celebrating its 50th anniversary by giving away 50,000 free beers at

450 different bars nationwide that day.

There is an online thing where you can, if you can't go to one of those bars, they'll

send you like one beer.

But they're also at the brewery that day. The problem I have with these national contests where you go into random places, and we've all been in this situation. The people that work there have no idea what's going on. The average hourly employee has no idea that some guy's supposed to get a but miller light

yeah they walk in and go i'm supposed to get a miller light here's my what what we got to check

with somebody what what you know it happens all the time yeah nobody gets not everybody gets to the

memo no nobody gets it yeah so there is that a thing i don't know we're not doing that here

you know you have to go to their website and enter your state to find out the beers,

the bars in your state that will be participating.

But to also celebrate their 50th anniversary that day at the brewery in Milwaukee,

they're doing a New Year's Eve style ball drop, only it's a beer drop where one by one giant cans of Miller

Light will drop down the pole and they will be live streaming it at 450 local time and then

re-live streaming it across various time zones because no matter where you are when the

clock strikes 450, it's Miller time.
