A new study suggests that dogs notice and try to help when people are

upset or in danger. Cats on the other hand think it's hilarious.

I like that joke.

So I got a favorite joking around. I'm contemplating our nation's cybersecurity

jack.

Yeah, this story got a fair amount of attention yet. Attention yesterday that the Russians

had hacked into our power grid and like upped around just to see if they could do stuff

and then got out. I do have someone in that world. I want to be very vague. I don't want

to get anybody in trouble who said it's actually known that the electricity companies have

unwittingly thwarted a lot of cyber attacks just by being so disjointed and poorly set up.

They're so not well connected and put together in like any reasonable normal way which they've

been working toward for years that currently they can't nobody could get in and bring down

giant segments at a time. Interesting. That's known within the world of power grid.

On that confidence inspiring note, let's turn to Rebecca Smith, the author of that piece

in the Wall Street Journal about Russian hackers reaching into U.S. utility control rooms.
