yesterday afternoon, Paramount announced that they were, in fact, signing a contract with South Park,

renewing a deal and creating an even bigger deal for the people who make South Park.

Just after they fired Colbert told him his show is going away,

Paramount strikes a five-year deal worth $1.5 billion with the South Park creators, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone.
