I'm at Aviva Stadium here in Dublin, Ireland and we are getting the full tour of a magnificent stadium, the history of it, the great pride they have in it.

These grounds have been here and sport rugby soccer and the like have been played here since the 1800s.

Now they tore down obviously the old stadium we were just getting a lesson about how they had to obviously get rid of the asbestos of the old stadium and build this magnificent structure that you can kind of see behind me here.

But our hosts here at Aviva have been incredible in teaching us this history and also kind of shown us the locker rooms that we'll have a lot more from here that we roll out throughout the course of the year.

But I wanted to do something for Jeff Cameron show this week before you guys watch the or listen to the best of.

And so thought I would just check in really quick, we just got here today, flew throughout the night and landed in Dublin, came to the hotel, beautiful hotel and hard of Dublin, and then came here to Aviva to get this history lesson to meet the people, the operations managers, the owners and the fine folks who run this stadium to learn about what it's going to be like for four state fans when they make their way over.

And to see kind of like a game day experience, if you will, and so from here we're going to go, I can by the way, I'll tell all of you guys, there are plenty of pubs in and around here, lands down street, there's plenty to do, plenty to see and a lot of charm always in Ireland, a lot of charm, but they're gracious hosts and.

Tom I can't this is this is really cool it's really cool they do a 25 events a year here, they did inform me just so you know Tom and everybody back home, there is no place that is safe from Taylor Swift she sold this joint out next year to the tune of three nights three nights here at Aviva for Taylor Swift next year.

So yeah, this will be this will be quite the locale I don't know if you can really get the feel for everything that I can see here, but it's it's it's just remarkable.

No, you could see it all the one thing I'd say is staying that little sweet spot there the internet has been fantastic as you as you wandered a little bit sometimes it clicks out.

But you can see it you could feel it I also appreciate buddy that you kept your voice kind of low almost like a golf tenor because the stadium is not packed and energetic it's very it fits British open week it fits the Scottish open that was completed you have you have the right feeling for the morning over in Ireland.

Yeah, well you know I don't want to yell at all echo in here at seats just over 50,000 so one thing I will tell you guys is that if you're you know obviously if you're planning on coming the one major difference between this stadium for example and the stadiums back home is this is you are right on top of the action like here behind me are the seats and here right there is the field.

So if you are and i'm kind of like what would be the corner of the in zone right now, but if I go back over towards midfield I mean you are on top of it it is really pretty remarkable.

And we learned a lot about what they're going to do with the locker rooms because as I said normally Tom only soccer or rugby is played here so those teams are significantly smaller than American football teams in terms of sheer numbers.

So they they've kind of built out add-ons and they have found a way to incorporate it it's like three different rooms for the locker rooms it's really neat it is funny I observed just because it was such a popular show but the main locker room for the soccer team the football team here is it it looks exactly like Ted Lasso I mean 100% like Ted Lasso it's hilarious it's just so generic and simple and straightforward.

But again they don't have that many players so it makes sense but they they've really gone all out and they get so excited about talking about American football.

I saw where you know when Notre Dame and Navy played here in 2012 we were able to watch how they they had a documentary for that so it was really really pretty cool and what they've done since then so.

Now it's a it's a remarkable thing we're going to ready to go over and have lunch with the stadium operators and owners and this is going to be a great experience but I did want to drop in while I had a chance and get something out there to you guys will be we'll have more of an opportunity in the coming days as we get situated we've kind of been.

Up all night and and and go and and from here though I will tell you if you want to know after our big lunch we're going to go to a giant whiskey distillery.
