Brian Kelly did in the SEC meetings today about singular games, especially if they play big

games.

Most of the time they deflect from that.

Most of the time they'll say things like, oh, it's a big game.

It's great for college football.

I respect the program.

We're really excited to be facing so-and-so.

But it's one of 12 that we're playing and we've got lofty goals, et cetera.

But Kelly didn't do that today.

He said that it was a big deal for their program, an important

game that they have spent the offseason thinking about and preparing for that football game

against Clemson. And I think it's a risky proposition when a coach does that. And I dare say that

next week, when we go to the ACC kickoff, Mike Norville will not do the same

for Alabama. He will not have the conversation pointing Alabama out as a more meaningful

or important result or game as any other. Is it a bigger game than many others on the schedule?
