So the FBI agent Peter Strach is raising his right hand and he's about to give his opening

statement.

We'll bring that to you in a few minutes, but we want it to be very exciting.

It is.

We want to get to this ground zero for this court case of Sacramento, California, but it

matters to practically every city we're broadcasting to as we've talked about a lot, the explosion

of the homelessness problem on the West Coast.

We've got so many listeners and so many cities that say, hey, things are way different

than they were a year ago, five years ago, 10 years ago, with the number of homeless

people we got hanging around downtown.

These are trying to figure out what to do about it.

In some cases, they're trying to pass restrictions on where you can panhandle just to have some

reason to be able to move people along.

Say you can't be here anymore.

Well, now a court has said you can't do that.

Well, yeah, I've found a free speech issue, don't you know?

In my travels that there's fairly widespread agreement that aggressive panhandling is

uncool.

You can even get plenty of folks on the left side of the aisle to agree with that, but a

Sacramento district judge has issued an injunction against some newish laws in that city.

And Sam's just caused other cities to say, whoa, whoa, we better hold off to make sure

we're not getting in trouble.
