0:50.1	What's Defend the Guard? I never heard of that before.
0:53.2	Defend the Guard, I'll explain it to you because you've never heard it before.
0:56.2	It's a piece of state-based legislation sponsored by our organization,
1:00.1	bringing our troops home that takes one half of the United States combined military fighting force
1:05.9	and puts a stop check in place at the state level that keeps them from going to undeclared wars without a declaration of war from Congress.
1:13.6	And as you know, Congress hasn't done that in over 80 years.
1:16.6	So it's a fight that we've taken to the state, state-based legislation that says that the governor and the legislatures of the state of Texas or Arizona or Idaho
1:23.6	will not release their National Guard troops, their militia into federal service if the
1:28.5	purpose is to fight overseas wars that haven't been declared by Congress.
