Fighting extradition. I'm Lisa Salisera. Fox News. It could take as much as 30 days for Luigi Mangione. The suspect in the shooting death of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson to be brought to New York to face murder charges. Mangione and his lawyer were in court today. New York Governor Kathy Hokel says that she is coordinating with Manhattan

District Attorney's Office and will sign a request for a governor's warrant as soon as possible

to have Mangione extradited to face those murder charges. This on the heels of what was an eventful

day in court today with Mangione arriving in court for his extradition, yelling at the cameras,

saying that this is all an insult to the

intelligence of the American people. The White House has come out and condemned the killing and

murder of the United Health Care CEO, White House Press Secretary, Corrine John Pierre, says that,

quote, violence to combat any sort of corporate greed is unacceptable and that the White House will continue to condemn any form of violence.

Fox is Brian Ennis in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.

Police say they recovered a three-page handwritten note, suggesting Mangione had what they called ill-will towards corporate America.

And they say he had a ghost gun, a type of weapon that can be

assembled at home and is difficult to trace when he was arrested yesterday and a McDonald's

in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Muhammad al-Bashir is the new caretaker, Prime Minister of Syria, backed by the rebels who

White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby says the U.S.

is trying to get more information on him. And we want to make sure that whatever governance
