A manhunt in Manhattan. I'm Lisa Lucera, Fox News. The NYPD looking for the suspect who they say shot and killed you. That at healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, as he was walking down the street in Midtown Manhattan early this morning.

Source is telling me on the ground that this was a targeted attack and they say the gunman was highly skilled.

He shot him once in the back

and another time in his leg. He kept walking toward him too as he was fighting for his life on the

ground and he shot him again. The NYPD releasing photos that show the suspect, part of his face

is covered. Investigators say this guy walked off after that shooting, popped on a bike, and rode away toward Central Park.

Boxes Alexis McAdams in Manhattan, Thompson was in New York City for an investors conference.

Police have not yet established a motive for the killing, which happened just blocks from tonight's Christmas tree lighting in Rockefeller Center.

The FBI investigating after weeks of reports of drones flying in New Jersey, not far from

President-elect Trump's golf club and a military research facility.

Local authorities reiterating that there is no threat to public safety because of these drones,

but we're speaking with witnesses who are concerned because they're flying near sensitive
