Today it will be 100% rock and roll with my guest Mr. Josh Todd of Buck Cherry.

I got to tell you I was around back in the day when they first started making some noise around Los Angeles and

tearing it up, selling out clubs, didn't have a record deal. There was a buzz on them.

I remember reading something in spin or Rolling Stone at the time. It was like got a brand new rock band out here in the height of the

rap rock that was going on. There wasn't much straight ahead rock and roll going on. But Buck Cherry hit the scene and started tearing it up. Got a record deal.

Released the hit single, all lit up and a song that I thought was a masterpiece called At the Movies and boom, they got a gold record.

They are on a brand new super label at the time called Dreamworks and they were the talk of the town. They put the second record out time bomb which I think is a hundred thousand times better than the first record and they kind of just go away.

Then they take a long hiatus, come back to drop a record called 15 and completely take over the full on radio dial with

Crazy bitch played everywhere still to this day.

Here they are coming up on their 10th record called volume 10 coming out here in a couple weeks. It was great to sit down with Josh and

run through his career. I wanted to have Josh on for a long time and just never happened, but finally happened and my good buddy Billy Rowe from JetBoy is in Buck Cherry now and
