Welcome back everybody to The Incomparable Podcast.

I am your host, Jason Snell, and in a tradition we started several years ago that just keeps rolling on,

because there are a few more movies we can do this

with. But we only do one a year now because they're not that many. And I love this tradition.

It's Kilmas, our annual holiday celebration as you do, as you do every year, or as I do every

year of the great actor Val Kilmer. Why? I don't know, because I said so. That's why. And in this episode,

this year, our choice for film was 2005's Kiss, Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, written and directed

by Shane Black. If you've seen movies made by Shane Black, you have an idea of what this movie is, too.

Let me tell you about the people who decided to come and celebrate Kilmas with me this year.

One of them is Annette Weirstra. Hi, Annette. Hello, this is definitely my favorite holiday

of the year, and I am dressed as Val Kilmer in Willow, Mad Mardigan.

Mad Mardigan, that's very nice.

I've got the, I've got the little antennae and the buddy slippers from Real Genius.

I do, for sure, for real.
