0:38.1 | to grow up in the shadow of the University of South Carolina where, quite frankly, during my |
0:43.5 | childhood, you know, the city of Columbia and athletics as a whole took a huge pivot when |
0:48.2 | South Carolina joined the SEC because we started seeing, you know, just unbelievably historic, you know, basketball, football, and other programs come to town. |
0:59.7 | And so it began to kind of put in me above to dream to work in athletics. |
1:04.6 | And so when I graduated from college, I went to Dave Odom, who was the basketball coach at the time. |

1:11.8 | at the University of South Carolina helping his guys with study hall and also mentoring and then |
1:17.5 | running his camps in the summer. And so they called my first position learning specialist, |
1:22.5 | but it was just kind of make sure everybody showed up to class and help out. |
1:30.6 | And then I did that for, you know, seven, eight years. And then I was blessed by some relationships we had at South Carolina to get an |

1:39.2 | And there, Scott Piole was a great mentor and helper for a couple of years. |
1:45.0 | And then from there, went to New England and was really, really fortunate with Coach Belichick, |
