And so today, I want to talk about science fiction technology that makes no sense.

Now, I'm not talking about a lot of science fiction technology, which doesn't make sense

because it isn't completely explained.

Like if you watch Star Trek, for example, they'll talk about, you know, they have the replicator

that can make any kind of food you want, the transporters, the warp drive, and like on Star

Trek next generation, Jordi LaForge, played by Levar Burton from Reading Rainbow.

We'll spout all this techno babble that doesn't actually make any sense.

It's just nonsense.

But a lot of science fiction, things that are called science fiction, it can be hard a

little bit to distinguish it from fantasy, right?

Like take Star Wars, for example, the Jedi are space wizards, the forces, magic.

It's really similar to a fantasy genre, more so than straight science fiction.

And some people will call Star Wars that.

But even in other kinds of science fiction, it can get very fanciful in that regard.
