From the moment the Bronze Age Manoans and Mycenaean Greeks first penetrated the Nile, they began to learn and transmit ideas back to the mainland.

Because of this cultural interaction, some of the artistic achievements the Greeks are most famous for, we can see clear Egyptian roots.
