tuning in to listen to today's episode. My goodness, y'all, for as many contradictions as there are for the reasons of

Marilyn Monroe's death, August 4, 1962, there are just as many contradictions and conflicting

interpretations of Maryland's last summer. As the fullness of time continues and blooms, so to speak,

many more people involved in her life have revealed more through the years, and the more that

folks do reveal, even within their own whatever colored shade of memory they're revealing it from,

sometimes piecing together Maryland's last few months can be like kind of assembling a mirror ball

that has already been broken into a thousand pieces. I find finding what is the real truth, the facts, can sometimes be

challenging. In this episode, we aim to explore all the sides and all the shades of this summer

of 1962. Maryland has a few things going on, three different sectors of things. There is, number one,

a war with Fox Studios. Number two, there's some really, really shady stuff going down with

her housekeeper and her psychoanalyst. The third of this triangle of the summer of 1962 involves the Kennedy brothers.

Let's investigate. The day after that Madison Square Garden, Marilyn Monroe is coming back to Los Angeles.

She arrived Sunday, May the 20th, to find her housekeeper, Eunice Murray, in her home cooking.
