You know, I wish people had learned to love each other and quit looking at everybody.

You know, I think when you talk about race, I talked to you about this before, I think, when you talk about race or you talk about, you create more division.

You know, a kid isn't born racist.

A kid isn't born judging other cultures.

He's instilled that into his brain from the parents and from the world and surroundings

and the environment. That's what happens. Instill love. Be diverse. Go do events with different

people. Let your kids be around different people. Like let them have different people of friends of different culture and different races.

You know, that's important.

You know, we live in Birmingham is like a bubble and in Morrisville's a bubble.

So I'm specifically trying to put my kid in, you know, in city programs that have a very diverse group of athletes. It's just important for me,

right? And, you know, I want him to go to public. I mean, my wife fight about all the time. I want

him to have, to understand diversity. I want him to understand other people's culture.

You know, one of his good friends, Lathen's his best friend. You know who I feel bad for? I don't feel bad for black people. I don't feel bad for white people. I don't feel bad for Chinese people, Hispanic people, any of that. You know what I feel bad for? Mixed people. Because they don't get accepted by either. They just don't. Like put yourself in their shoes. Like I'm white and black, but neither one really brings me in. I'm white and Hispanic, but neither one brings me in. Like, I'm telling you, like, that's what those kids have to deal with. And then one side sometimes paints the other side bad, and this is half of who they are. It's sad. I was on a podcast not

too long ago. I said, you know what would help change all this? Because everybody's like,

I'm half this and I'm half that or I'm 100% that. No, the fuck you ain't. If our DNA could sit

on our shoulder and show everything we are while we're walking around, you wouldn't have a lot

of problems. Because that fucking bigot, son of a bitch, all of a sudden has stuff he doesn't like in there.

And you'd be like, hey, asshole, you 20% this, motherfucker, you didn't know.

And then all these other people like, I'm 100% that.

Nah, motherfucker.

You actually 13% that.
