Summary

Are you ready for some Carriage House firsts? We've had quite the week in Marblehead, excuse me. We had a HUGE guest planned for today, but they were affected by the horrible situation in Texas and had to cancel because they didn't have any power. Then, speaking of electricity, a power line went down right in front of The Carriage House and Ronna lost power! Public works got an earful from her, rest assured. So Ronna headed up to her brother's cabin in New Hampshire and (Bryan) stayed with the Lobsterman...who, it turns out, doesn't have any Internet. But the show must go on! No one can replace (Bryan), of course, but, in a Carriage House first, we had to find our first ever GUEST HOST, and, lucky for us, a favorite of ours was available. It's the always delightful Naomi Ekperigin! Naomi joins us to give advice on roommate problems, enjoying New York City as a first time visitor, and knowing more about a friend's relationship than the friend does. Special guest host Naomi Ekperigin only subscribes to one Patreon. Who are the lucky recipients of her endorsement? Us, of course! And we couldn't be happier to win the Naomi seal of approval. Well, you better turn this off because it's only been 15 seconds and we're only at the

start of the episode. But I have due to some unforeseen circumstances and some natural

0:43.0

disasters, I suppose we could call it. But also some serendipity, I would say because

I have the most fabulous stunning hysterical, smart, smart, smart, smart. This cookie is so

With me today is Naomi Ekperigan. Oh, Rana, Rana, this is Black History Month girl. This

1:13.3

is it. Now I'm mad at myself. I could have pretended it was just for Black History Month

1:18.2

that I was having you on as co-host. I do get credit. Do you think I will consider it

1:24.4

a reparation? I will. So we can proceed. Can we can we officially call me an ally just

1:30.3

for this afternoon? Definitely. Definitely. You get allyship points for real. It's like

1:36.0

you just read white fragility. Well, instead of living it. Yeah. Yeah. Now I think I'm

1:42.6

an ally, but you know what? A lot of people think they're allies and it turns out they're

1:45.7

not at all. And that's how I know you an ally because you just points it that out. You

1:50.6

know what I'm saying? People that think they're allies and never

1:52.8

allies. That's kind of how it works. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. Definitely. Too good.

1:57.8

I think it's good. How are you handling this? Okay. So let's just break it down for people

2:02.9

what's going on here. And I mean, am I lucky that you said you joined me in it? If there

2:07.1

was no pandemic, there's no chance I would have Naomi because nobody works more than Naomi.

2:12.6

Three minute you're working and probably every minute you're on a writing zoom and a

this and a that. Well, I mean, girl, I'm out here just trying to afford the things on
