Bri Joy and today I get the honor of leading you in a body scan. One that I

hope will nourish and guide your mind, soul, and spirit back into your identity as a

son or daughter of God. This is a good one to come back to whenever you're

feeling scattered, lost, and disconnected from yourself or God. This is a time to

declare that your body belongs not to the kingdom of this world, but the kingdom

of God. So that at the first attempt of something or someone to come at your

worth today, you recognize the lie and call it out. This world comes quickly for

our affections and attention with every distraction it takes to get us to

grab a seat away from what's true, holy, and good. So today let's claim our

body as gods to enjoy him and to soak in his delight. Please take a moment to

settle into a seat, one where your feet can touch the ground. Feel your

set bones planted rooted into the seat beneath you. And I'd like you to draw a

mental image from your tailbone through your lower back all the way through

your upper back into the crown of your head. Picture your spine long, strong,

and extended. Careful not to be too strict with posture here, but do allow for

this spaciousness and breathe comfortably.

Take a deep breath in and out. Gently close your eyes if you can. Let your face
