this is a 17 psalm in this Jewish book, you can read all about this fervent

phariseic expectation of a warrior king that comes from the Loynes of David.

So we have all these ideas that are just percolating in the first century.

The New Testament was written in volatile times and it talks about a peaceful

sect of Judaism that turned the world upside down, Act 17, through loving their enemies, loving their neighbor, giving to the poor,

reaching out to the marginalized.

And they were talking about these things with a sword in their back and a knife at their throat.

That's New Testament Christianity.
