Summary

Happy Valentine's Day to all who celebrate--and we hope you do because love is the most important thing in the world! And to get in the spirit, Susie is trying to convince Sarah to propose to Eli. Hear what she has to say about that idea, and her answer may suprise you. We discuss a woman who got divorced, but chose to keep her ex-husband's name, and some people are worked up about it. And we consider why the last name debate is so fraught and complicated. We learn about a study where men had to identify parts of a woman's anatomy (including a part that doesn't even exist), and they were very confident and very wrong. Susie explains why she still struggles with the purity culture mindset she grew up in, and how it informs her views on sexuality, women, and modesty. We discuss two examples of people who were wrongly declared dead, and how Susie's fears of being buried alive have been triggered.

0:49.9

A state. The police will stay. I was going to say humble about it.

0:55.5

It's somewhere in the middle of those two things. What a joy it was to see you after a year

1:01.6

and a half. Oh my gosh. I know. Well, we did get to see each other a little bit for when

1:07.0

we had our brain candy meetup, but it felt like, you know, you were working. You were

1:11.7

like, yeah, it was one day. And you know, I feel like your brain is somewhere else when

1:17.6

you have to do stand up comedy. Like that would be so much pressure. I would not be able

1:22.5

to just chill and hang out. That's why I felt bad for right after the show when we hung

1:27.1

out with the brainiacs because it was too short. And it also like, I was just like, my head

1:33.1

was spinning. I just, yeah, you know, hadn't come back to earth. So, you know, anyway, that

was not enough. And then this was much more substantial and much more time together.

1:45.8

Yes. This was lovely. And I feel like it's been a really long time since you've been in my house,

1:52.2

or like, since you've been in my, like, we've like shared each other space. Like that's been,

1:57.8

that I haven't been in your space since 2020. Yeah. A long time. I got my fill. It was so nice.

We got some great adventure. Everybody. Okay. She had to hear the word, how many times do you
