Today my friend Deen Castronovo current drummer for Journey is my guest.

Deen has had a long career in Rock n Roll playing drums with some of the all time greats including Ozzy, Journey, Wild Dogs, Social Distortion, Bad English and so much more.

Deen is currently out on tour with Journey on their 50th Anniversary Arena Tour so do not ,miss that.

Currently playing with Journey Dean Casternovo. And you might know him from all of his incredible work over the years.

Starting way back in 83. Shrapnel recording artist, Metal Band Wild Dogs.

And then Hardline, Bad English. We talk a lot of bad English. That was the kind of super group with Neil, Jonathan Kane, and John Weight.

Dean back there on the drums. Did some time with Aussie. Unbelievable. You guys live in the dream.

If you don't know what Journey Through Time was, it was an incredible tour that Greg Raleigh, Neil Sean, and Dean did where they celebrated the first four records of Journey.

And between the dates on this journey, 50th anniversary arena tour, which is just incredible. Journey, 50 years. I was seven years old when they started.

Just crazy. Just a Bay Area juggernaut. Look at that Bay Area. It's just produced some of the greatest bands, man. Metallica, Journey, Huey Lewis, Exodus.

I go all over the place. You know, grateful dead. I like it all, man. Just crazy. The track record, Night Ranger.

And a lot of them have been guests on the podcast. I have been very lucky. And I was lucky to grow up in the Bay Area and here and meet all these people at an early age, which was, you know, unbelievable to be face to face and watch these guys.

Sometimes do surprise gigs at New Georges or Uncle Charlie's or the Stone and be able to see just legends five feet away and learn the craft as they say in the biz.

But it is true. I definitely had an incredible upbringing in a wealth of unbelievable songwriting and musicianship.
