Today on the show, I continue my 11-year anniversary special with four more stories from my favorite 11 stories over the last 11 years.

The first story is from actress Roxanna Ortega.

She shares a story about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

They wake us up at 1230 in the pitch black, and we start this ascent up the mountain for six hours, up this icy incline.

And they told us it's too high and it's too cold to stop.

So we just have to go directly for six hours until we get to the top.

And you're going to love this story from actor Larry Clark.

He worked as a caterer for Lauren Bacall's party.

She pulls me aside and she goes,

You're pouring too much liquor and the drinks. You're going to get them drunk. And I go, oh, okay, that's a standard. Under my breath, I was like a standard amount. I've made a lot of drinks. But, okay. And then she goes in, put the lids back on the little soda bottle. And she starts doing it in front of me angririly this was a good precursor to the rest of the night

because this didn't stop and comedian john reep shares a story about his father's very very poor

decision and he buys this underwater repair kit they have those and he gets a backpack full of rocks

to hold him down at the bottom, you know, so he can fix it but not float to the top, you see.

Where there's like oxygen and shit.

And then you'll hear from podcaster Jordan Harbinger.

He has a heck of a story.

And this one is about being kidnapped.

That was my first real red flag where I was like, uh-oh, this guy might not be legit. I'm like, hey man, just let me out here. Or take me back. No, no, don't worry. I'm just going to ask for some directions. I'm like, listen, I'll pay you, just let me out. And then, of course, he gets me with, I thought you didn't have any cash just a card. And I'm like, damn.
