Happy Wednesday, everybody. This is Emily Shrong with Meathead Hippie podcast. I am so pumped because shit went down this week. First off, platform strength is officially opening September 22nd. So this is my gym. It's a 24-7 strength and conditioning hybrid gym. I just wanted to talk a little bit about

0:22.0

the classes. I've had a lot of questions on the in-person and online programming. And I have a video

0:28.7

that is linked on the website that you can watch that explains this all in more detail. But really

0:32.9

quickly, this is just a really great hub of trying to bridge the gap between functional fitness,

0:42.1

the hours that you want to do it, and a community.

0:45.6

And you guys know most of my background, and I'm just so excited because I felt like for a long time,

0:51.2

for a few years, I didn't really have a place to go that i really really loved

0:54.6

that had everything i wanted so we created it and the grand opening all of the classes are sold out

1:00.8

which is incredible i can't wait to see you guys september 22nd is um for we will have classes but don't

1:07.3

worry like you can come in drop in say hi i'm going to have a tarot card reader. I'm going to have tea. I'm going to have gluten-free beer. If you just come and sit and hug me and hug everybody that's there, it'll just be incredible. So don't worry if you can't make the class or if you missed out on the reservation. We will be there all day starting at 8 a.m. I'll have more details about the tarot card reading sign up.

1:29.6

She's actually going to be a podcast guest before the tarot card reading so that you guys can get a vibe and you can reserve a 15 minute slot with her.

1:37.4

It's Laura Mahoney. So I'm just super jazzed about that because we clearly have the meathead part figured out with the gym opening, but now we get some

1:45.3

hippie. And if you want to check out the online programming, it starts September 1st. It's $39 a month,

1:51.3

and it is the programming we're following in the gym. And the gym classes and the online programming

1:56.7

are structured where you get to pick your path. So I think everyone should be strong. Being strong is a

2:02.3

necessity of being human. So you will always do a lift with the class or on your own. And then you get

2:08.3

to pick your accessory work. So you're either going to do more cardio, which is my burn. You're going to do

2:13.2

more hypertrophy, which is my bodybuilding, which is called the build, or you're going to do more

2:18.4

Olympic lifting and fast twitch muscle training, which is with the athlete. So working really hard with

2:24.6

my partner, actually my coworker, Wade, who's just a boss at programming. We just are so jazzed

2:32.0

about it. So check everything out, Platformstrength.com.

2:34.4

Come to the grand opening if you can. And if you can't, don't worry, we will see you come drop in anytime.
