Hello and welcome to another episode of Page 94.

My name is Andrew Hunter Murray,

and this week we are going to be talking about two very different stories,

but two absolutely fascinating ones which have been in the magazine lately.

The first is the story of Dr. Jeff Monks,

a pub landlord who for about 20 years had his life wrecked

by an extraordinary vendetta by the local council.

We're going to be talking about that in just a moment.

We're also going to be talking about cladding the government,

especially with its shiny new housing secretary Michael Gove,

has been making enormous promises that it's going to sort out the cladding crisis

that has ruined so many hundreds of thousands of people's day-to-day lives

for the last several years.

Are those promises actually going to match up and translate to reality?

Rachel Clay, the ice housing correspondent, will be telling us later.

But first, a story 20 years in the making.

Now, private eye often covers stories of miscarriages of justice

where ordinary people get trapped in the justice system.

Maybe they are the victim of a crime.

Maybe they are accused of a crime they didn't commit,

and it takes an enormous amount of effort to prove that they were in the right all along.
