talk about cows. Yes, cows. I have first a lawsuit involving quite a few cows that were

struck by a car and owned by a doctor who made one of the most insane and absurd legal arguments

I've heard. Not to the most. I think

the list is pretty long, but definitely belongs up there with an attorney, a defense attorney

alleging that murder wasn't a violent crime. I saw that brief in person. Yes, I did. And the latter

part of the episode is going to be about a cow named Emily, who is near and dear

to my heart. Yes, a literal cow. Not a metaphor. Let's just get into it. This first case is Tunnel

versus Archer, a verdict issued in 2016 in Texas. On August 3rd, 2011, Plaintiff Bobby Tunnel, 45, a self-employed carpenter, was involved in a

rollover accident on North Double Road outside Amarillo, Texas. Tunnel was a front-seat passenger in a truck

driven by his son, with his grandchildren sitting in the back seat when they came upon five or six cows in the road.

Tunnel Sun slammed the brakes and struck two cows, which caused the truck to roll,

eight times coming to rest upright as the truck caught fire and was about to explode.

Tunnel Sun and a passerby extracted him from the truck and moved about 10 yards

away before it exploded. Tunnel sustained multiple severe injuries. No one else was injured,
