So I was on Twitter yesterday and I saw a Roto World tweet that said,

that Gruden, we will play the hot hand at receiver.

You've got to be freaking kidding me.

This hot hand nonsense has to stop.

I understand the notion behind it and how they're playing the player who's been performing

best within the game set of circumstances.

I get it.

But it's also really dumb.

Just play your best players.

A one quarter sample size of Josh Dox and playing football against the Cowboys is

surely not going to tell you whether he's a hot hand over to Ralph Ryer.

Especially if Josh Doxen is on the field over prior during the early parts of the game

so you don't even know if Terrell Pryor is going to have the hot hand.

The phrase hot hand is stupid too.

Imagine using that in your everyday life.

A waiter says, would you like french fries or potato chips with that?

Whichever one has the hot hand man, whichever one has the hot hand.
