But anyway, while we were out and about, you know, ran into some friends. And then one of my friends introduced me to somebody else, one of their friends and acquaintance. I don't know them at all. And just randomly said, oh, yeah, she's like a metal head. And he was like, oh, cool. What metal are you into? And I just went, uh,

perfect. Is that happened to you? I was like, aluminum. I really like steel. Yeah, I just totally froze. I wasn't expecting the question. And then, you know, later on, you're like,

God damn it, Danzig, system of a doubt. I mean, you can just rattle everything off. But in the moment, I was like, poison, but I hate poison. So I didn't say that. I'm really in a white lion. Yeah. Pam, you were forever a poser in that person's eyes. Every time they're like, fucking fake metalhead. Yeah, I was like, yeah, I just sort of. Well, first of all, I wasn't expecting to talk to this person. But yeah, is that happened to y'all where you're just like, we're not friends. I was like, I don't know you. It happens within the context of beer a lot to me where my friends think that because I've done a beer podcast for what, 13 years. Oh, yeah, I was like, go talk to Grant. I'm a beer expert?

I am not. That's happened to me too before. It's like, oh, he's a beer wizard. Go fucking talk to him. And I'm like, I'm drawing pictures right now. Yeah, I'm like, what do you, what do you like to drink? oh okay then drink that

It's especially great when you're half in the bag already at a bar. You've had a couple of drinks. And somebody's like, oh, yeah, talk to him. He knows all about. I'm like, what should I get? And I'm like, this is pretty good, the beer that I'm drinking right now. Because it's a big rigmarole. If you want to be honest about it, you have to be like, well, what do you like?

Right.

You know, but I understand where you to be like, well, what do you like?

Right.

You know, but I understand where you're coming from, Pam.

There are a lot of sub-genres of metal, and sometimes it's hard to rip them off the top of your 65-year-old brain. Well, now I – thank you, John. You're welcome. Now I've got a backup list because I was like, holy shit, I don't want that to ever happen to me again.

You're all prepared for a scenario that's never going to manifest again. I'm prepped and ready. Also, you're not prepped and ready. It's going to happen the next time somebody asks you that, you're going to say poison again, even though you don't like, you know that's not the right answer. The one thing she's prepared is the thing not to say, poison. What did I say poison?
