This week we talk with Susan Jacobs, the music supervisor for

HBO's sharp objects.

It's her job to pick songs that elevate the visuals to another level.

It's always about what's conveying the emotion that the director wants to convey.

You know, I always tell people music is a point of view.

Our job is supervisors. You know, I always tell people music is a point of view.

Our job is supervisors is to make sure

that everybody's understanding the different

points of view that are possible.

song for every scene and how she got Led Zeppelin of all people to agree to
