So what does the gospel have to do with criminal justice?

The criminal justice have to do with the gospel.

However, you want to answer that, ask that question?

Yeah.

Well, I think it goes back to what you said about the Bible being a story, not just a series of propositions, that the gospel is more than

the Romans Road. The gospel is a story about God's justice triumphing in the world.

I remember when I became a member at Capitol Hill Baptist Church that we have to do these member interviews and the pastor asked me,

what do you understand the gospel to be? And I said, behold, he makes all things new.

Hmm.

Um, he's making all things new. The one who sits on the throne said, Behold, I'm making all things new.

That he made a good world, made a just world.

We messed it up three chapters in, and he's going to fix it.

He's not making all new things.

He's making all things new.

He's going to make it just again.
