0:00.0	Guys, I'm going to be honest with you, he taught me how to make my own turkey calls,
0:04.9	and it was a mouth call.
0:06.3	He taught me how to make them out of lead.
0:08.4	But how did he learn how to do that?
0:10.3	Well, he picked it up at Montegrook in Mobile, Alabama.
0:15.1	And it was a guy down there on the streets selling bird whistles.
0:19.8	And the guy was selling, and he was making all kind of sounds with selling bird whistles. And the guy was selling,
0:22.3	and he was making all kinds of sounds with that bird whistle,
0:25.8	and some of them sound like turkeys.
0:27.6	And my grandfather and another guy, Mr. Radcliffe,
0:30.9	and they said, man, I think, you know,
0:32.5	we could look at that and see if we can't modify it some
0:36.3	and make a turkey call out of it. So in 1929
0:39.5	they made the first
0:41.4	mouth call. Being able to pinpoint exactly where a goblinling turkey is is half the battle in a successful
1:14.9	hunt. My favorite tool for pinpointing goblers is the compass mode feature on on X hunt. When you
1:20.7	enter compass mode on your app, the map orients to whatever direction you're facing and a line is drawn on
1:26.1	the map with different distances marked.
1:28.3	So for instance, like I'll be out hunting some hill country and I'll have a bird goblin.
1:32.6	So I'll turn on compass mode. I'll face the bird and I'll look at my phone and it's got those
1:37.1	different yardage is marked. And basically I can say, okay, that bird is probably about 250 yards away.
1:42.7	I can look at my map and say, oh, yeah, look,
