It is, why do we work?

That's right.

Or why do you work?

Why do you work? Why do we work as well?

You know, the other day one of my 21-year- old sons, Connor, asked me a question.

That's the basis of this podcast. He said, Dad, what's the purpose of having a job?

Now he didn't really want an answer. So he just went on. He said, it's to make money, right?

That's pretty much what the purpose is just to make money and I could tell he was not excited about being right and that he was sort of lamenting the fact that work as a concept felt a little empty to him

So that prompted me to talk about our gifts and our concept felt a little empty to him.
