Summary

Vanessa aspired to be a singer, dancer and actress but God had better plans!  She faithfully walked through 9 years of infertility trusting God had other things for her to do in the mean time.  I personally wish I would have done more trusting and less freaking out when I was dealing with infertility myself!  If you're in a place where you're considering adoption, you're going to be very encouraged to remember how well God builds families.  If you're not, you're still going to love this story.  Vanessa talks candidly about the various issues and joys that surround adopting an older child and how far her sweet daughter has come once she was provided a stable, loving home. What we chat about: walking through infertility WELL when God shifts gears on a career path adopting an older child resources for foster children Share the struggle! I want to hear YOUR thoughts on this episode!  If you've been encouraged by the show, please share it with another mom.  The struggle is real.  We might as well do this together! resources for foster parents as well as how you could be a resource for a

foster parent if being a foster parent isn't something that you are called to.

1:14.5

There's a lot here and if adoption and fostering none of that's even of the slightest

build their families in that way and if nothing else it's a really neat story of people

saying yes to God even when it certainly looks a little bit unorthodox.
