Less than two decades after the fall of the wall, a United Germany is helping spearhead

the unification of Europe. But the eastern part of Germany retains its own identity and

its own unique attractions.

eastern Germany because it's no longer east Germany. It's been united back into the fatherland.

And Germany is one country again and I've got with a man who grew up in East Germany before the fall of the Iron Curtain when it was communist.

Today he's a tour guide and he's spent some years living in the United States and he's

basically grown up in Germany and we're going to find out what's going on in East Germany.
