Ladies and gentlemen, we have a lot to cover on the I don't have enough faith to be an atheist radio program and podcast today.

It's kind of with a heavy heart. We're doing this program. We're recording this on Thursday.

And of course, last night was that terrible plane crash. And we're going to talk about why would God allow such evil? Does it disprove

God? What could possibly be the reason for it? And actually, when something like this happens,

it's normally not a time to look for these kind of answers if you're very close to the tragedy. In fact,

the time you need answers for a tragedy is long before you go through the tragedy. But I can't help

talking about it for those of us who haven't lost anybody but are still heartbroken by it.

My son is an American Airlines pilot. He flies a 737. This was a smaller aircraft that holds about 70 people and I called him when it

first came up on the TV and nobody really knows what happened yet. We'll figure it out at some

point. But his at least working theory is that when the helicopter was told to look out for a

particular plane on final, he may have misidentified the plane

as already passing him

and wasn't on the lookout for one that was just coming right next to him.

I mean, it's a one in a million chance

that they'd be in the same airspace at the same time,

but indeed they were... I don't know if I could even read this thing, but

Bill Mulegan is a, I'm not, I don't know if I'm pronounces his name right, he is a Fox News reporter

and he just put up this tweet and I retweeted it. He said, it's with great regret that I can

confirm a friend of mine,
