Hello and welcome to this episode of Irreligiosophy where we actually have found a Mormon who will talk to us and not about respect.

Yes, yes, so this should actually be pretty good because I don't believe we'll hear in any of it that is not what I came here to discuss.

That'll be a refreshing change.

So in this episode we've actually brought aboard Palmer who has emailed us because

he was so disappointed in Layton's brother Sean's performance on our previous

podcast about respecting other people's beliefs.

Now I must apologize. Although I have a family of 19, that's the best I could find in the family.

So now you understand the bars I must step.

Palmer is a faithful Latter-day Saint who's come courageously under the show to defend

that position. Is that correct? That is correct. So tell us a little bit

about yourself Palmer. What's your background? Sure. I grew up in the southwestern United States, lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of

Latter-day Saints.

The members of my family have been members of that church for five generations on both sides,

mostly coming out of southern Arizona rather than the Utah troop.

I'm a former gospel doctrine teacher, former Elderskorm president,

return missionary, the whole enchilada.

So you've been on a mission and you were responsible for teaching, I'm not familiar with

gospel doctrine class is this kids is this adults

adolescents who are you teaching that's more adults in the gospel doctrine class

yeah it's the the higher level class for long time members of the church to go learn

about church doctrine history etc. They have a lower adult class but I forget

what it's called it's not
