Second Kings chapter 2, verses 11 and 12.

And as they still went on and talked, behold,

chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them.

And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it,

and he cried, my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen, and he saw him no more.

Oh, what an awesome scene. Elijah and Elisha walking alongside one another,

and all of a sudden, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them.

Like, just picture that.

If you've ever read the story before, you can almost just kind of read through

this and kind of, yeah, I've heard the story, but think about this. Imagine this. Imagine

walking with somebody one day and all of a sudden, in between you come chariots of fire and

horses of fire, like fire chariots, fire horses.

Like they look like horses, but they're on fire.

And all of a sudden, Elijah is taken up by them.

Like, who wants to ride on a chariot of fire?

Like with a horse of fire, like that seems like it's pretty, pretty wild to be on that ride.

And Elisha watches it.

And he's like, this is amazing.

My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and it's horsemen.

And all of a sudden, Elijah is gone. What a scene when God brings Elijah to
