Damon Langlois - Friend of the show, member of our chats, sand sculptor extraordinaire joins us for a fascinating chat about the world of Sand Castles and Sasquatch! We chat about the World Championships in Canada, in two places near where I used to live and play, his world titles, the art of building and carving, the massive world record that he designed and the city / amusement park they built in Kuwait.
The book is part story book and part picture book from the largest ever amazing sand sculpture festival.... Aladdin, Sinbad, Alibaba and many other known and unknown stories from the Arabian Nights are illustrated by photographed sculptures created by the best sand artists in the world. We also talk about the evolution of this art/culture and where it is at compared to when he started. Check out some of the absolutely incredible art.
