Jason Lingren is with me, and we are delivering part two of the Opus Magnum, or Magnus, something like that that of the Bernays episode that we first introduced last

time around in episode 662. In part two, we're going to cover the rest of what Jason wrote,

which is very in depth. Matter of fact, do you want to say anything about the notes you wrote,

Jason? They're quite extensive. Well, very much,

like I said the first time, Bernays was so ungodly influential, even now 30 years after his

death. He put things in the place in motion that just permeate all of Western culture to the point

that you are affected by what this man did, probably without even realizing

it on a day-to-day basis.

It would be awesome to know how much of this he basically crafted out of his own imagination

and how much help he had.

You know, in the blog for the last episode, Part 1, I kept alluding to all in the family because I thought it was

funny because it was a TV show and a song. But the more you look at him, the more you realize

it was all in the family. But did he invent so much of this? Or was he getting help? Because at the

end of the day, you've got to imagine that what he did has been replicated endlessly

by social engineers. Well, I think he helped put the whole social engineering thing into sharp

focus, and they took what he did, used it extensively, and even refined it. For me, there's no doubt.

It worked, and anything that works is going to get copied. But anyhow, if you're

ready, let's jump in. Hollywood has never just been about entertainment. It has been a wonderful
