Rowan on the show today and today Jim is talking about becoming more valuable

if you're not very valuable at your company in your business to the marketplace

you're not really gonna earn that much money the amount of money that you earn

the amount of money that you have will always be directly in proportion to

the value of the service that you're providing so you got to raise your game

you can't be one of those people who says well I'm due for a raise next year

I'm gonna wait until next year I'm gonna get this raise no no no no no no no no no

can't do that become more valuable and that raise comes faster become

indispensable at your job at your company at your business and you do that by

working on yourself because when you work on yourself you create a space you

create an opening to become so much better at what you do to get in that top

10% or top 3% or top 1% of people in your field when you do that you can't

help but get paid get better at what you do you know my buddy Jake Ducey in his

last book he wrote about the MVE the most valuable energy think about your

office and who you who you work with who's the most valuable energy in your

office the person with the most valuable energy is the indispensable person in

that office that person is the glue so you have the option to become that most
