Summary

Felina Danalis is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and she joins Paul for what is, essentially, an intro to what somatic experiencing is, how it works, and what kinds of issues this trauma therapy can address. Felina takes us on a journey of learning why this out-of-the-mainstream modality can be so surprisingly life-altering. Paul also shares his own experience with Somatic Experiencing.

We had about 22 people and it was really great.

0:42.7

We talked about the difficulty in sometimes finding a therapist who specializes in something

0:48.1

because therapists will often list when you're doing a search, anything that they are

0:53.7

equipped to handle, but for many of us we're looking at somebody who is beyond just

1:02.0

being equipped to handle something but something that somebody specializes in and one of

1:08.0

the things that we talked about was finding a therapist who is experienced in dealing with

1:17.6

a specific population who it goes beyond them just kind of touching on that as one of

1:26.0

many subjects in their education.

1:29.3

really great session and I hope to see some more of you.

1:39.7

As I've mentioned the last couple of months on the podcast, we are struggling financially

1:44.6

and I hate asking for help, but we do need help.

1:48.8

The podcast is losing money and right now our Patreon subscriber number, I think we're

1:56.8

at 728 people and we need to get to about 1500 monthly donors to be able to break even.
