the podcast where we talk about teaching and training with positive reinforcement.

Before we get started this week, I want to let you know that I'm running that virtual live workshop, set it, and forget it again next week.

Otherwise, you should know it's going to be on August 22nd.

But there is homework to do beforehand.

So really, the whole workshop

experience starts now, basically. So you should know this is not an ordinary webinar. And I really

want to make sure that that's clear because instead of like 45 minutes or an hour of slides and

me talking with maybe a few minutes of Q&A, we're doing that flipped classroom approach that we've been doing for our other workshops.

And of course, in this case, that classroom is virtual.

So by flipped, I mean when you sign up before the actual live portion of the workshop, you'll receive some background material with video examples and homework training exercises to get started on before we meet live for the actual

workshop. And then the workshop itself is heavily focused on implementation and interaction. So we'll meet

live. We'll go over the material, build on it a little bit, talk about your homework. And then I'll

give you training exercises to do right there in real time.

So I'm the only one on camera for this. And I won't be able to see you. But we have specific

breaks built into the workshop agenda so that you can grab your dog, try the exercises,

and then come back and ask any questions that might come up when you give them and try.

This implementation workshop format is something that we use a lot with my zero to CD group and we get really good results. I'm really pleased with how that's working out. And I know that we've all

experienced that really common seminar syndrome where you attend a really great seminar, you absorb

a lot of information,
