Hey, everybody, I've got a great one today. You know, for a change. Finally, a guest with

something to say, Michael Harriet is the senior writer for TheRoot.com, the largest black

online newspaper. You should check out TheRoot.com, especially if you're white or black

or Asian Pacific Islander or Latino, Latina Latinx, I'm not sure, or like me, Jewish. If you're all

of those, you should really have your own online newspaper. And one of the things I like about Michael is that he writes,

how shall I say, acerbically about race, politics, and culture.

And I like acerbic.

And I've asked myself, if I were a black writer journalist, what would my attitude be?

I'd be acerbic, right?

But after I just started talking with Michael, I realized that that's kind of a racist thing

to ask myself.

Just asking that question presumes that I have weird assumptions

about what it means to be black.

So I decided just to listen to Michael and ask him stuff.

And I learned a lot and really enjoyed this one, you know, for a change.
