During these challenging and difficult days in which we find ourselves, we're turning

continually to the Gospel of John, inviting that wonderful story, that wonderful description from John's Gospel of God's love to remind us that God is

with us and truly you are never alone. Are you surprised to hear me call the crucifixion a miracle?

Well it is one. It embodies the feature of all the other miracles in John's Gospel.

In the miracle of the atonement, water didn't become wine, but sinners became saints. On Good Friday, Jesus didn't tell the lame men to walk.

But you know what he did?

He invited all of us to dance.

His command at the Bethany Cemetery was enough to call his friend Lazarus from the grave,

but his announcement on Calvary on Good Friday was sufficient to save all who believe in him from eternal death.
