I'm your host Heather Ashley and today you'll hear part two of the murder of Leila Daniel.

I'm going to be honest really quickly like I think everyone on this planet does.

I hate cases that involve children.

It would be easy to avoid them but these cases, cases like Olivia Gant, Malachi Lawson, Noah Tomlin, and Leila and Millie,

need to be heard because something has to change.

I've spoken to so many social workers throughout researching these cases and the system is broken on so many sides.

And the victims here are always the children.

No matter what side of the broken coin the damage comes from, the victims here are the children and they need to be advocated for.

We need to overcome the bystander effect and start reporting something when we suspect anything.

Instead of stepping back and worrying that we're being dramatic or assuming that someone else probably already has.

We need to learn what the warning signs are of abuse and we need to do something about it when we see them.
