Time is a lot of things, but it's no defense against grief.

We say that it is because there's no defense, and by clinging to time, we can suppose that there's some relief that's always just around the chronological corner, but there's nothing there but more time.

And in grief, time is as much your champion as your nemesis.

Because when it comes to shielding you, it's a flawless window.

You can see right through it.
