Hi, everyone, and welcome to a time of being still and being loved.

My name is Alisa Keaton.

Today's being still and being loved, we are going to become intentional about scanning

and feeling our bodies.

It's a very important practice for anyone who wants to grow in mindfulness, awareness,

self-attunement, and the ability to go and do whatever it is you are passionate about

doing.

We must be connected to ourselves as we connect back to the God who created us.

So right now you are going to take a position either seated in a chair with your feet firmly

on the ground, or you can do this standing as well, feet firmly placed underneath you,

or if you'd like laying down on the ground.

Now, I'm going to read a script that is just going to walk you through your body.

I want you to think of yourself as you are laying inside of a Xerox machine, and if you've

ever used one of those or made a copy, it's a light source that scans the document from

left to right to get a read on what is there and then to make a copy.

So as I read through the script, just begin to allow your mind's eye, your imagination,

your attunement to become aware of whatever it is you feel in each part of your body.

We're going to stand on the scripture in Psalm 139 today that says, my frame was not

hidden from you when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the

earth.

So God knows every part of us, every part, every cell, every hair, every part of you,

you are not a mystery to him, but oftentimes we have feelings that threaten to disconnect
